General Food Law — active now. Every farm selling to distributors must maintain one-step-back, one-step-forward traceability records and produce them on demand to authorities. Paper records are legally valid but practically unverifiable.

EUDR

EU Deforestation Regulation — December 2025. Commodities entering the EU must be accompanied by geolocation data and proof of sustainable sourcing. National QR traceability systems are already operational in Honduras and Ghana.

DPP

Digital Product Passport — from 2026. The EU is extending digital provenance requirements to food. Estampa's QR certificate is exactly the format being mandated — built before it becomes compulsory.

▶ How does the permanent record work? (Technical details)

For the technically curious

Estampa uses Solana, a high-performance blockchain, to store each batch certificate. When you log a harvest, we write a cryptographic hash to Solana — costing less than €0.01 per record and creating a timestamp that cannot be altered or deleted by anyone, including Estampa itself. Your actual farm data is stored securely on our servers and on IPFS. The Solana record is a tamper-evident seal: if the data were changed, the hash would no longer match. Any batch can be independently verified at solscan.io. You never need to interact with any blockchain directly.
